Dr. Tony Michaelson joined the practice in 1980. He graduated from Monash University in 1975, and obtained a diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology whilst working in England in 1979. He enjoys Family Medicine and other areas of interest include managing a Methadone Programme, Acupuncture and Shared Antenatal Care. He is also the practice "computer trouble shooter".

Dr. Rick Hooper joined the practice in 1988. After graduating from Monash University in 1982, he spent 5 years gaining valuable experience in Paediatrics at Royal Children’s Hospital and Geriatrics at Mount Royal Hospital. Rick has attained his fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners (F.R.A.C.G.P.). His qualifications also include Tuberculosis screening and vaccination, obtained at Fairfield Hospital. Other special interests include Family Medicine, Women’s Health and Travel Medicine.

Dr. Pamela Dagley graduated from Melbourne University in late 1975. She has been in general practice since 1978 and has been at North Eltham since 1995. Her primary interest is Family Medicine, with special interest in Nutritional Medicine, Acupuncture, Women's Health and Children's Health. Pam is a member of the Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine. She has the Diploma of Medical Acupunture.

Dr. Lisa Simms graduated from Monash University in 1985 and spent her Intern year at the old Queen Victoria Hospital. Since then she has gained experience in General Practice, including Women's Health, Paediatrics and Geriatrics. Lisa has attained her Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She came to North Eltham Medical Centre in 1995.

Dr Huey Miin Tan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1993. After graduation she worked in various hospitals in Melbourne and country Victoria, gaining a wide range of experience. Her main interests are in Paediatrics and in Women's Health. She obtained her Diploma of Obstetrics in 1996 and Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practice in 1999. Dr Tan speaks a little Chinese.

Dr. Gavin McCormack joined the practice in July 2001. He graduated from Sydney University in 1986. He attained his Fellowship of Royal College of General Practice in 1993 and his Diploma of Medical Acupuncture in 1994. He has lived locally since 1992, and has 3 young children. His medical interests are Family Medicine, Laser Acupuncture and Preventative Medicine. Leisure interests include gardening, computers, travel, genealogy and Collingwood's next flag.

Dr. Kelvin Mah graduated from Monash University in 1995. Before this, he studied locally at Eltham High School, living in Greensborough. After graduation, he worked in various hospitals in Melbourne, including the Royal Children's, RV Eye & Ear, and William Anglis Hospitals doing 6/12 of Obstetrics/Women's Health obtaining a certificate in Shared Care Training. He then worked as a GP in Mildura for a couple of years before joining this practice. During this time he attained his Fellowship of the RACGP, and has interests in family medicine, ENT, child and women's health. Dr Mah speaks a little Malay, Hokkien, French and Greek.

Dr. Mirjana Janjic came to North Eltham Medical Centre from New Zealand in July 2006. She graduated in 1988 from the School of Medicine, University of Sarajevo. In 1993, she moved to New Zealand with her husband and 2 children. She practised at the Auckland Public Hospital and Tauranga Public Hospital from 1994 to 1996. She trained in Family Medicine and became a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2003. She was firstly a Partner and then a Sole Principal of a private practice from 2000 to 2003. The practice went on to become the first comprehensive Medical Centre in Papamoa with 4 GP's, practice nurses, dentist and other Allied Health services on site. Dr. Janjic's special interests include Preventative Care, lifestyle modifications, children's and women's care and also skin cancer diagnosis and management. Mirjana also speaks Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and a little French.

Dr. Diva Divakaran joined the practice in July 2007. He came from Sri Lanka to Australia in 2001. He graduated in India in 2005 and worked there and also in Sri Lanka where he completed further training. In Australia he worked in Newcastle as a Registrar at the John Hunter Hospital in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. Due to his interest in General Practice, he moved to work as a GP Obstetrician in country NSW and then country Victoria for the last 4 years. During this time he completed his Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practice, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and also the Diploma of Child Health from Sydney University. He has much experience in Obstetrics, Paediatrics and Family Medicine. He is also attached to the Royal Children's Hospital and teaches for medical students at Melbourne University. He speaks Tamil, Singhales and a little Hindi.

Dr. Ralph Vanderzeil graduated from Monash University in 1977. He started his own General Practice in Templestowe, where he worked for 25 years until moving to NEMC in July 2009. He has an interest in all aspects of General Practice, particularly Paediatrics and skin cancer medicine.
